Southern Alberta Institute of Technology

Southern Alberta Institute of Technology is a post-secondary polytechnic institute that offers skills-oriented programs in diverse fields. Being a polytechnic school, SAIT believes that the school’s experience-oriented trainings result to high success rates in the careers of their students.

SAIT offers credentials in more than 90 baccalaureate degrees, applied degrees, certificates and diplomas, 30 apprenticeship trades, and 1,675 continuing education courses, domestic and international corporate training credit and non-credit courses.
Students can choose programs in the fields of Business, Construction, Information and Communication Technologies, Health and Public Safety, Hospitality and Tourism, Media and Broadcast, Transportation, Manufacturing and Automation. All of these programs deliver practical hands-on learning geared towards developing core skills that students can readily apply in their future jobs.

SAIT’s vision is to be a global leader in applied education.

Through the school’s Applied Research and Innovation Services department (ARIS), members of the faculty and student body collaborate with industry partners to spearhead innovative research projects. These projects maximize the student’s learning experience.
